Gilgit Baltistan is accessible by air, road, and rail. The main cities of Gilgit Baltistan are Gilgit, Skardu, Hunza, and Ghizer. These cities are well-connected with the rest of Pakistan by road and air.

Travel:

By air: The fastest way to reach Gilgit Baltistan is by air. Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) operates daily flights from Islamabad to Gilgit and Skardu. The flight takes about one hour and provides a stunning view of the Himalayas.

By road: You can also reach Gilgit Baltistan by road from Islamabad or Rawalpindi. The Karakoram Highway, also known as the KKH, is the main road that connects Gilgit Baltistan with the rest of Pakistan.
