Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to study the provision and application of new educational technologies with reference to the effective and appropriate performance of the secondary school teachers of KPK. Using the survey method, the data were gathered from 200 teachers through a questionnaire. The questionnaire had two parts; part one sought participant’s demographic information, whilst part two examined the practice, competencies, changing role and parameters of the teachers by incorporating new educational technologies. This paper argues that engaging with new technologies the teachers can make continuous everlasting professional development which enhances the educator’s achievement. This paper also suggests some possible ways in which technologies transit the effective teaching to thenew future of educational system.
